Problem: I am making a backup and it is giving me a write error message.
Solution: Either their is no disk in the drive, the disk is no good, or the files are too big for the available space on the disk.
Confirm the disk is in the correct drive. Use MY COMPUTER and right click on the drive you are sending the backup to. It should indicate how much free space is on the disk. If it does not, or gives you an error message, the disk is not any good, or its not the drive letter you think it is.
If the above works. Check the files on the disk, or try another fresh disk. If you have a really large company (thousands of transactions a month) you may have too much information to fit on the selected media. You may need to backup to something else. Either use A CD, OR the large volume media of your choice and send the entier DOMEABC directory to the device.
