Index does Not Match Table

Problem:  The program uses indexes to track lookup data more effieciently.  Somehow the indexes were not written properly when the program was shutdown.  Either due to the computer being turned off, the program ending prematurly, or an unknown reason.   This is the most rare and most troublesome problem.

Solution:

Due to limited test cases with this problem our solution set is small. 

So we can resolve this issue.  Please let us know what you were doing when you got this error and any previous problems you had with the program/computer.  Since we can not duplicate getting it we can not work on a solution to stop it.

The recommended solution is to email us a copy of your backup and we fix it for you.  You can try a few things first to see if it is type of corruption we have built tools to fix.

• Make a backup of the entire C:\PROGRAM FILES\DOME PUBLISHING COMPANY directory to a CD or another hard drive.
• Click START/PROGRAMS/DOME PUBLISHING COMPANY/CHANGE DRIVE
• Using the buttons PREVIOUS/NEXT navigate to the company in question.
• Click on the BUTTON RECOVER.  Write down any error messages you get.  If you get the error message trying to locate data1.dbc UNLINK the file.
